SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary There are two versions, one autofocus version (composed of six parts), another manual focus version (composed of eight parts) Please check the version you need to buy, thank you .


The SIGMA 150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens Protective Sleeve manual focus version (M/AF Version) consists of 8 parts.

The zoom ring, focus ring, and bracket ring can all rotate independently without affecting the normal operation of the lens (For AF and MF).

The 600mm end of the lens also has a special Protective Sleeve, which can be used without installation. After this part of the Protective Sleeve is installed, it will affect the lens retraction.

This page is an AF Version Protective Case.
The auto-focus version Protective Case is composed of 6 parts. Compared with the manual focus version, the auto-focus version reduces the number of Protective Case components, has better integrity, and the protective cover is more compliant and more comfortable to hold. However, the manual focus ring cannot be operated after the Protective Case is installed, so you can only use the auto focus function (For AF only).
The zoom ring and the bracket ring can rotate independently, and usually do not affect the operation of the lens.
The 600mm end of the lens also has a special Protective Case, which can be used without installation. After this part of the Protective Case is installed, it will affect the lens retraction.
The material of the waterproof lens protective cover is composed of three layers: a non-sticky fiber layer on the surface, a waterproof glue layer in the middle, and a soft loop velvet on the inner layer.
The protective cover of the split structure is not suitable for use in the rain due to the gaps in the zoom ring and focus ring.
When shooting in the rain, please use a special integrated rain cover to protect the lens.
