Terms and Conditions for the “Buy Now, Pay Later” Service

Samama.qa, in collaboration with PayLater Website Services W.L.L (“Service Provider”), offers the “Buy Now, Pay Later” service (“the Service”), which allows customers to purchase products and pay in scheduled installments without any interest, in full compliance with Shariah principles.

By choosing to use this service, the customer expressly agrees to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Service Overview
   The “Buy Now, Pay Later” option is available during the checkout process. Upon confirmation, the customer will pay an initial installment, and the remaining amount will be divided into three equal monthly installments. All transactions are managed by PayLater under a Shariah-compliant Murabaha model and are entirely interest-free.

2. Eligibility Criteria
   This service is available exclusively to individuals who are 18 years of age or older, hold a valid Qatari ID or residency permit, and possess a valid bank card registered in their name. Approval is subject to a creditworthiness assessment conducted by PayLater, which retains the sole discretion to approve or reject any application.

3. Fees and Charges
   No interest or hidden charges are applied to the customer when using this service. Neither the merchant nor Samama.qa may impose any additional fees for selecting this payment method. All service fees are paid by the merchant to PayLater as a non-refundable service charge and shall not be passed on to the customer under any circumstance.

4. Returns and Cancellations
   If the customer cancels or returns an order in accordance with Samama.qa’s return policy, any outstanding amount will be adjusted or refunded through PayLater using the original payment method. The merchant is obligated to immediately notify PayLater of any approved returns or cancellations.

5. Ineligible Products and Services
   The following items may not be purchased using this service: weapons, adult content, controlled substances or medications, alcohol or tobacco products, prepaid cash cards, gambling services, cryptocurrencies, or any product or service that violates local laws, Islamic values, or may harm the reputation of Samama.qa or PayLater.

6. Data Privacy and Protection
   All financial and credit-related data is processed exclusively by PayLater using high-standard encryption and data protection protocols. Samama.qa does not collect or store any customer banking or credit information. The service adheres to Qatar’s Personal Data Privacy Law No. 13 of 2016, and customer data will not be transferred outside the State of Qatar.

7. Liability Disclaimer
   Samama.qa is not responsible for credit assessments or installment conditions and holds no liability for any approval rejections or PayLater policies. Samama.qa shall also not be liable for any delays or failures in payment processing resulting from customer actions or service provider issues.

8. Suspension and Restrictions
   PayLater reserves the right to suspend or revoke service access without prior notice if fraudulent activity, misuse, false information, or other violations are suspected.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
   These terms and any disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The Qatari courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all legal matters related to this service.
